Ok I got a MR DO from a fellow klover that was working fine. I decided to move it across the room to make some room for another machine. Left it off for a couple of days and now when I plug it in I get no picture (some white lines on the screen and a loud humming or buzzing coming from the speakers).

Marquee lights come on and with a little tap on the side of the cabinet I saw some MR DO characters on the screen but basically just garbage and they quickly disappeared. This machine is a conversion and the taito cabinet its in is not sturdiest BUT where should I start.

My guess is something came loose but I tried to reseat everything and same issue. Also the PS looks very old. Could it be something as simple as an old or dying PS?

Sound to me like a connector issue. It worked you moved it then it didn't, I would wiggle poke, push on connectors.

Power supplies are always something to check. Without proper voltages, game will do screwy things...espically the +5.

reseated everything again, check all connectors.... took out board and put in another (which was mr dos wild ride, it did not work). Replugged in original board and now it came up but it looks like this.

Messed with every knob on monitor neck and board and thats the best I could get. I messed my colors up a bit in process.

I know this problem started after you moved the game, it seems like the monitor wasn't getting a proper signal. That something just got knocked loose.

Did the image on the screen look like that before or after you adjusted your monitor?

Did you check the neck seating on the back of your tube to make sure it was snug?

As far as those Do boards I gave you, they have been sitting for over fifteen years. I would recommend cleaning them with a magic eraser or high concentrate rubbing alcohol. It is a good idea to do this with any new boards you take in.

It looked like that before as well. Monitor wont show left side of screen and everything is folded over. I adjusted the monitor levels to try to stretch the image.
