Wow Audio, that Mr. DO! is a thing of beauty, congrats man! I love me some Mr. DO! one of my all time favorites and a very underrated game. Super fun! Love the cabinet artwork, if you ever get tired of that puppy, let me know!

heheh duh...I just now realized you're Bill from that other arcadewebsite.org lol. Now I'm gonna have to seriously scrounge for space so I can take advantage of 2 for 1 shipping heheh ;) Anyways nice find man..The monitor looks like its burn free! I only recently discovered how beautiful those dedicated Mr. DO! cabs are. Such an awesome design and patterns. I believe there is a high score save available online somewhere. Which reminds me I need to get someone local to DL and burn it so I can install to my Mr. DO! pcb.

Tom

You are trying to get all my nicest finds huh? Haa ha.

Monitor is burn free but has vertical collapse. Need to look for a Toei manual later or a working chassis. I'm looking at other options as well (such as a 8 liners chassis).

2 for 1 shipping huh? Unbelievable. ;)

Hey Bill, get that sucker running an post some pix! Happy to help deliver your new addition to the family! :D

It's a good idea to fix the original Toei monitor since the chassis controls end up being right inside the coindoor. Makes it very convenient. Normally the Toei's burn up a resistor in the middle of the chassis and many have a burn hole from the failure. Check that first.
The lockbar holes are a bummer and it has the wrong joystick but still a nice machine.

Yes. Lockbar holes really suck. I have a near perfect asteroids with stupid Lockbar holes as well.

For me, lockbar holes just show it was used commercially and really shouldn't affect the value unless it's more extensive than usual.

I'd never pay less for a machine just because it had them.

Agreed... However, I have a few survivors that don't have lockbars holes! Too bad someone didn't spare the Mr. Do.

I really need to try and get the Toei working because the tube is perfect! So, I'll grab a schematic and start troubleshooting.
