Cabinet and Hardware:

Cabinet: Brand new freshly built and painted cabinet.
Metal: Stripped and powder coated brackets, speaker cover, vents
Con Door: powder coated black, chrome and stainless polished
Control panel: cleaned and polished
Internal metal parts: cleaned and painted as needed
Bolts: polished
T-molding: New (went with black to compliment blacks on cabinet)
Locks: New
Vinyl Leveler: New
Speaker : New 6x9
Buttons: New flat Sanwa style
Coin Box: Sanded
Top Cabinet brackets: stripped and chromed


Cosmetics:

Control Panel:
Right - Original Instruction plexi polished to remove scratches and cig burns.
Left - NOS plexi installed

Joystick: NOS Monroe 4-way

Side Art: Universal Cabinet Decals from www.ThisOldGame.com

Marquee: NOS conversion applied to glass and behind second piece of glass.

Coin Inserts: Original, polished

Monitor Inner Bezel: New hand cut out of black matte board, new foam pads

Monitor Bezel: Original in decent shape, light surface scratches, searching for NOS or better example


Electronics:

Monitor: Burn-free 19" Matsushita Monitor
Power supply: rebuilt, polished
Boards: cleaned
Wire harness: cleaned, zip tied
Power Cord: New
Marquee: original light fixtures, with new bulbs and starters
Coin Door: New LED's

Nice! Now I know the answers to some of my questions. You did the same thing as me for the marquee - NOS conversion sticker. I've also got an NOS overlay but haven't installed it yet.

So will you be on the hunt for an original joystick or are you content with what you have?

BTW, I rolled my coin counters back, which was appropriate for my restore - perhaps for yours as well?
 
:) Yeah the pix should fill in the gaps. I have no clue what the original joystick and buttons were but i'm perfectly fine with these - they look great and perform flawlessly. As for the monitor, thats the only name i could find on there so i don't know if its a Toei or not.

As for the counters, i like keeping them that way so they keep a connection to the past and a running total into the future.

This video is COOL, i found some original starter thingamabobs so i kept the original lights.

 
Please tell me you have all these fabulous restored machines setup in an arcade somewhere so I can come play them....
