So i'm listening to the Howard Stern show on Sirius satellite radio today, and Across the PDT it says "Mr. Awesome" Sure enough I listened to the entire segment ( a best of ) it was Roy Shildt! I listened intently to make sure it as the same guy from 'king of kong' fame. I was shocked by what I heard. Not only did he claim to be the first computer athlete to be recorded in the record books for his score in missile command, ( where Gary De'Abate producer stated " Is there anything awesome about a guy who holds the record for missile command?" and Stern responds "No" ) but went into detail about how he put an ad in Playgirl where several women, as well as a number of Hollywood producers responded to his ad. I listened as he admitted to allowing some of these producers to perform certain acts on him to help him get further in his pursuit of an acting Career. He felt he needed to expose what was happening in Hollywood for those who were unknowing. He also claimed to be a personal trainer. Needless to say I was blown away ( no pun intended ) by what I heard. I knew that this guy was over the top just by seeing him in King of Kong, but had no idea how bizarre his story was Is anyone else aware of this interview? Was it ever mentioned here before? The segment was originally broadcast on 2/9/01...
