Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has had experience moving a sega turbo sit down? I plan on picking one up this weekend. It will need to be taken apart to fit in the van. What is the safest way to pick each side up with a handtruck?

Uprights are pretty straightforward but this would be the first time I've ever picked up a sitdown game. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

John

I've moved turbo and Monaco and the interface holding them together is just small bolts without reinforcement you'll probably crack something if you try to pick up the whole cabinet and put it in a van. If you had something with a liftgate you could probably get away with moving it still assembled. there's bolts on the top and bottom holding the two pieces together and then of course wiring that comes apart with a connector or two putting it back together is very interesting in fact mine currently is not back together for that reason because I needed more than one person to do it

Thanks for the tip, I will plan on separating it. What side should I use the handtruck on? I assume backdoor-side for the front half. How should I pick up the back half with the handtruck - isn't there rear glass that could crack?
