I have a line on a Whirlwind which will be my first pinball. I know they are big and heavy so I am looking for tips on moving it. Does the back fold down or come off? Can two people load it into a car?

With arcade games, I transport them on their side in the back of my pathfinder. Can I take the legs off and slide it in the back of my vehicle?

Thanks for the help for a first-timer.

Two people can move a pin. One person can do it with the right equipment.

Always remove the legs and fold down the backbox. Always.

There is a latch on the back, when you unhook it the backbox should fold down. If it doesn't you'll need to remove the backglass, swing open the light board, lay down the display board, and look for two wing nut bolts that are securing the backbox in the upright position.

When folding down the backbox, watch so that the wires don't get snagged and yanked.

Make sure the lock for the backglass is engaged and holding it in place otherwise it can slip forward and fall out, possibly breaking.

You may want to put padding between the backbox and the side rails. You may also want to strap down the backbox. Don't ratchet down the backbox too much or you can dent the side rails.

Good luck, Whirlwind is a fun game!

Remove the balls and any loose items inside the cabinet and close up.
Put a towel on the glass and over the side rails.
Fold head down onto towel. (remove rear latch and any head bolts inside head box first)
Shrink wrap around folded head and bottom or use tie down.
Slide power cord into cabinet.
Remove the back legs and bolts and sit machine on floor.
Stand upright and remove the front legs and bolts.

Get a dolly or start humping it to your vehicle.

Great game BTW~!
