Well, the time has come to move all my arcade machines into storage so I can get my house cleaned up and on the market. Going to be getting a nicer, newer house with a big open basement so I can have a proper place for all these machines to go without being scattered around in different rooms. I bought my current home 10 years ago. It's a 'starter' home and it's now time for me to upgrade to something bigger and better. So today, I transported all my remaining machines into storage to clear out the house so I can get to work fixing it up before I list it. I've got 6 machines at a friends' place (Donkey Kong, Galaga, Space Invaders, Asteroids, Mario Bros, Ms. PacMan) and 2 machines at my sister's place (Gauntlet Legends, Arkanoid Cocktail). That left me with 16 machines to move. I'm not worse for wear, but I can already tell you that come tomorrow, I'll be one sore dude. I chose to leave the Addams pin and the BTTF pin at the house because I simply didn't want to move them...yet...

Very nice . I've got some cool games and am very happy with them but it always amazes me how much I enjoy seeing other peoples collections . GL house selling and buying !

Nice collection. Best of luck with the sale of you old home and purchase of a new one. That can be a very stressful process, but also very rewarding. Hope everything goes smooth for you.

I like how that guy from the MK4 artwork is just staring at you from within the truck.

"How dare you put me in storage!"

Thank you!

You should really store BTTF at my house... no fees!!! 😁

Ok, I'll be right over. ;)

Thank you!

You're everything I want to be when I grow up

Not the first time I've heard that, lol.

Ha ha.

Been there. When we moved recently we had to put all our stuff in storage so we could close on both houses simultaneously. And we had to do all that in December. Hopefully you can close before winter. Good luck.

Thanks. It's a buyer's market locally right now. I have one of the nicest houses in the neighborhood and I'm only asking $6 more than what I paid for it 10 years ago. Should sell quickly. I hope anyway.

This would be a hell of a unit on Storage Wars! ;)

Indeed! Moved 6 cabs over to a friend's house who had the space and wanted to 'store' them for me. I agreed because I knew I wouldn't be able to fit them all in one unit. So here are the machines I moved over there...

Yeah im currently in the same boat.
Only the good thing is my storage has a workspace too .
Im sore as hell myself lol.

Did you sell your Metallica pin? I didn't see it in any of the pics

Haha, you should hang a sign on the ceiling that says "World's Smallest Arcade NOW OPEN - Maximum Occupancy Is 1" :D

So how big is your storage unit? And what's the unit number? :D

Yes. Sold it, my TMNT, and my Star Trek 25th Anniversary. They were fun, but I got tired of them and needed funds to grow the cab collection. Probably going to get either a Ghostbusters Premium or a really nice Star Trek TNG when I get to the new place, if I have any cash left that is.

The Pac-Man, Q*bert and Centipede look really great even in storage. You have some really excellent looking machines, Zeno.

P.S.

I have always thought the MK4 guy on the cabinet looked creepy.
