Mousin' Around pushes two balls out to the shooter rod

Hey all!

I'll look into your advice on my Bally Star Trek, but I'm at my mothers place right
now, and her Mousin' Around pushes two balls out to the lane, but only when a ball
has been locked for multiball(in the cheesetrap).

The game has three ball multiball, and it's extremely annoying(and unplayable) having the
two balls kicked out to the shooter rod....and it only counts as one:)

I've checked the microswitches under the ball-lane, they work as they should. But then
again, that seems unlikely that the problem is here when it only happens during ball-lock.

Any advice? She loves that machine, and I think that this renders it useless.

Thanks,

Nicholas

i would say you have 1 ball missing, (at least). pull the front panel off at the front of the playfield glass, it should say install *x* balls. make sure the total number of balls in there is the same number. my father in law's no good gofers does the same thing during multiball, and it has two balls missing.

Sounds to me like you have issues with the ball trough. Either one of the switches or possibly even the through itself could be worn? Sometimes the trough gets grooves in it where the balls rest. Check those 2 things first. That's my guess :)

Hey!

No, no balls are missing.......

Well, the thingy that pushes the ball out is a little bit *wiggely*...not completely
tight..it can move to the sides by half a cm or so.

Is this a problem? or is usually a little loose?

Where would I be able to get a replacement, if needed, nothing is written on it:)

If I understand you right, the solonoid that is pushing balls into the shooting lane is firing twice correct? That tells me that it is being told the first time was not successful. Probably that first switch or something around there or something. Of course I am just a novice myself.
