my mousetrap is missing the blue capacitors in the power supply. I saw one of them in the bottom of the cab. Could this be why i'm missing some sounds? Everything else seems to be working.

Someone was probably in the process of replacing them so I would test and/or replace them. I would only do this as A. they probably don't work and that is why the are out B. they are already out and easy to replace and they usually cost enough you don't have to order anything else to complete an order.

Hi again, i'm debating the swither as a solution but have a couple quick ?ss Someone in another post said you might not need the -12 volts? Is this true? Also i assume the orange wires are 12 volts but i'm not for sure. Is there a way to tell what wires do what as far as the 12 volts only? I'm only interested in the one harness at the top of the 12 volt power supply. There are orange and off white wires and i believe one yellow. Any help on a the 12 volt power supply would be awesome.

ok, i found the detailed wiring here on klov! I noticed that there are 12volt high and lows same with the -12. I read a old post about this and it was concluded a computer power supply would basically not work because of this. question. Mine is missing the blue capacitors on the bottom of the power supply but i'm getting all the main sounds minus the dog and hawk. What do the blue cap. do in this supply? Do they generate the hi, low? thanks for any input.
