Mouse Trap owners. Need a little help verifying the CP and ground wiring.
I've reassembled my Mouse Trap a few weeks ago and had to make two new ribbon cables that go between the sound board and main board. After I was done I wasn't getting sound. Last night triple checked everything, pushed in all the socketed chips on the PCB and tossed the PCB into the cabinet and suddenly I have sound. After about an hour I got a "Audio Communication Error" but after reseating the ground plugs on the control panel (all the grounds going to the microswitches) the error went away. This morning I had no sound again.
Anyone feel like taking a photo of their wiring to the buttons on their control panel? Also, could someone verify where the extra ground wires need to go. I believe one goes to the monitor chassis, PCB drawer, coin door... Just want to verify because no mater how I wire up the CP I am "always" missing a light to one of the buttons. So, starting to think it has something to do with the grounds.
Not ruling out the ribbon cable but figured I'd ask seeing this machine seems to be very temperamental when it comes to the grounds.
