Just wondering how to swap out light bulbs for the 3 door buttons as well as the dog button light....Since I've had the machine about a month none of them work anymore.....A few of them had worked right off the bat, but not since. The 1 and 2 player lights work fine, just the others, was trying to figure out how to disconnect the lights from the buttons. Thanks!

flip the control panel open, and pull the bulbs off of the bottom of the switches..Each pair is wired in series, so 1 bulb blows, 2 lights dont work. Sometimes they just need to be reseated.

There seem to be two types... one, you just twist 90 degrees and then it pops out of the main plastic housing. The other type you just pull... and if it's never been removed before, you have to pull HARD. Try tilting back and forth a little bit as you pull and it usually comes out a little easier.

Any good ways to clean up the buttons a bit? The yellow seems to stick a lot and gets stuck plenty when trying to open and close doors.

Does anyone know the model # for the Mouse Trap bulbs? I think they're a GE brand, just unsure of the model number. Thanks!

I hate to necro a 9 year old post, but this might be helpful to someone down the road.
These are 12V 555 bulbs...which are model number 194

Note that a LOT has evolved in 10 years. Given these incandescent bulbs produce a lot of heat, they can melt and discolor the button plastic. With a set of 4 repro buttons like $50, might be something people want to avoid. COMET pinball now makes #555 12V LEDs which are strongly suggested here. You could even match the button colors to make them pop a bit better vs. an off white.

Regardless, these lamps are bizarrely wired in series instead of parallel. I may fix mine because the last bulb (Dog button) only gets about 6-7V and is much dimmer. Also if one bulb blows, others won't work...another reason to switch to LEDs.
