Is there a cross reference list for Motorola logic ICs? I came across a bunch today and might be able to use some of these if I knew their 74LS equivalents (if these are even compatible).

Sucks because I found a crapload of 74HC244's, which I guess aren't compatible with 74LS244 because they're CMOS chips. Gonna run back out and check to make sure they didn't have HCT ;-)

Crap...the ones I have are definitely 74HC244's. Can't use those too much. I found one whole stick of 74LS221's in the pile. I'll be able to get to the box better tomorrow.

I think I saw MC14066's

MC14066 is the same as CD4066. That part just went obsolete a couple weeks ago.
Not that its hard to find, they are good to have on hand.

HC = High speed CMOS - uses CMOS logic levels and won't necessarily work in a TTL circuit.

HCT = High speed CMOS, TTL compatible - uses TTL compatible logic levels and will work in a TTL circuit.
