I started a thread about the most innovative games of the 1980s http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=253850&highlight=motion+games and you all were a big help giving me ideas for games I could write about for my research paper but now I think I want to just strictly write about motion based games since a majority of my paper is about the Hot Seat (4 pages). So far I've written about some of Sega's motion games (After Burner Cockpit, Galaxy Force, and Thunder Blade). I'm calling on everyone again for help! What are some other motion games I can write about or even games that really try to put the player "in" the game?

I'd also recommend talking about some newer games like Top Skater or Alpine Racer. They brought the player into the game by full-body immersion via real-life controls. Example would be the poles and foot platforms on Alpine Racer which mimic real-world skiing.

I can not rember the name of them but in a mall near me they used to have a nascar racing set up. The only game was nascar racing and they had about 10 half sized cars set up to race in. They had contests where you could win prises and you could buy a card that kept track of your races.

Tunnel Hunt
"Players must often lean against the cabinet to keep from falling over from the visual effect of flying through a twisty tunnel. Due to the way that that the cabinet was designed, the stance would effectively block the view of anyone else in the room, effectively making it a solo adventure."
