Most sought after/valuable mini?

Hi...I classify these in two different versions...mini (which are usually 13 inch monitors)...and cabarets---and many of the Ataris are cabarets...from Ireland...slightly smaller than the full size game (5 ft instead of 6 ft tall, smaller depth too.) Todd

bubbles is the coolest i have ever seen, although i am not sure if it was a real williams factory version of the machine

don't know where the pic's are ...

Todd, do you have pictures of your mini collection we can see?

So a cabaret isn't considered a mini? Or is that just one person's definition (opinion)?

You can also find places where they were refered to as a " mini myte". I just read that one recently somewhere on the net.

Wasn't there a Battlezone mini?

Yes, the cabinet profile is the same as the Missile Command mini.

Midway did that.

As far as I know, "cabaret / mini" were interchangable terms at the time they started coming out. Based on the manufacture dates I have on mine, 1982 was the marquee year of the mini - most seem to have been made then.

See if this Super-Pac mini image shows (hope so):

That would be interesting! They would have to ditch the periscope though, I don't think the game would be nearly as fun without it.

They could make the periscope housing smaller in diameter and add a mirror and viewing extension so that you could look down rather than straight ahead.

Actually, the Missile Command and the Asteroids have the same profile.

Asteroids Deluxe, on the other hand, is the same.

I stand corrected. I knew it was another non-vertical monitor mini cabinet, and totally forgot about Asteroids Deluxe. Thanks...

No problem... only reason I know is because I owned an Asteroids mini, and had my eye on a Battlezone mini. Well, I saw it on CL, so I sort of had my eye on it.

I do wish my MC was a mini instead of a cocktail due to space... and I'd love to get a Tempest mini. The full size cabinet is awesome, but there's no way I could get one into my house.

I posted a bunch of restored mini pictures on the Restoration Pages of the KLOV...do a quick search under TNT Amusements....those I did last year....haven;t had much time lately to work on more.....
