I was working on fixing up a control panel box for an NBA Jam I'm restoring. I laminated the front and the two sides yesterday. Today I decided to laminate the back of it, just cause I had a scrap piece of laminate laying around. I then painted the bottom, but then I thought, "you know, this would look really great If I laminate it."
Now, I didn't laminate the bottom and probably won't. But that got me thinking, what is the most over the top obsessive like thing you've done in a restore?
Painted something multiple times until it was right? Powder coating things that didn't need to be powder coated? Replacing artwork that didn't need replacing? Or maybe you laminated a piece that will never be seen.
