Most difficult/challenging machines to move…

Sega Star Trek is insanely heavy for a normal size cab. I've been able to tilt and slide everything I have onto the bed of the truck. I was able to tilt it, but I could not lift it to slide it on it's back..

steel talons by atari $900 pounds, 2 25 inch monitors and a cabinet built heavy enough to withstand the apocolypse. My wife sits in it when there are tornado warnings in our area.

it's actually not that bad. Meaning you can take it apart and move it down the stairs.

I did !

Warzaid 4 players deluxe was also ...challenging. had to remove a 2x4 in my stairs for it to go down. One guy pushing on top and one pulling at the bottom! she's ridiculously big. Love it.

Definitely Danger Zone! It's on this big heavy base with metal with no wheels and then the top is unwieldy with the monitor that sways all over place. Ugh! What a pain!

Hard Drivin' !! That thing is big and heavy. I removed the seat and cut the base off to make it into my basement. That monitor has to be removed unless you want to be a hero.
Gotta agree with this one... first game that came to mind.

While there have probably been worse games to move (the base of Top Skater was pretty bad, plus some cockpits), this was definitely one that I underestimated the most, and felt like a total loser when a friend and I couldn't even get it up a curb. It was so tall and top heavy that every time I'd lift from the front, it would just tilt and my friend couldn't lift it upward. We struggled with it for a few minutes until some random dude walking by (that didn't speak any English) made a gesture that we assumed was an offer to help.

I anticipated Police 911 being really difficult to move, so I removed the monitor, all the brackets, back doors, etc... once I did that, I thought it was actually really easy to move.

Speaking of large shooting games... Six Gun Select is difficult to move (though has wheels, so easy on flat ground). I've never removed the monitor to move it, but it's a large heavy MDF cabinet. I always remove both back doors, since they probably weigh ~20 lbs each, but it's still really tough to get up/down stairs, and if you lay it flat, REALLY difficult to get back upright.

Star Trek captains chair is rough because each half is heavy and the angles & fragile sides make a 2 wheel cart difficult.
Subs deserves an honorable mention for being tall, top heavy double-monitor, and weird shaped (the cart on a flat side makes it 6' wide and good luck going through a door.

But the worst for me was the Skeeball brand Super Shot basketball game. The sheet said it was 1008 lbs but I thought that can't be right....
It was right. And it doesn't dissemble much, so it's 9' tall giant monster.

Just about any game in my collection. Moving games down stairs is not fun. F355 challenge deluxe, Strike Fighter Deluxe, Daytona USA Deluxe 50' pair, pump it up deluxe, and Darius Burst all come to mind.

Ninja Warriors is probably the most dangerous due to 3 monitors and being so top heavy. Worse then the Hard Drivin' I used to have.

I have a few other bad ones as well.....

I would take my 10' puck bowler over all of these games. For that one, I hand to take down the handrail and go from the door over the steps down to the basement. That was awkward and a head-scratcher. My back did not bitch over that bowler. Even Centipede was a bigger hassle than that.

Sega convert a cabs. I can generally tip an upright game back on the hand truck myself but I don't have enough gravity in my to get those past the tipping point to move.

Tecmo Bowl with it's three monitors. Much lighter without them.

For my money, standard size cab would be Star Wars or Big Buck Hunter (with the super dense MDF). Overall, my DDR 8th mix is the worst, especially including the topper and stainless steel pads. Right at 1,000 lbs of difficult to move items there.

This thread again  I moved a Spy Hunter down two flights of stairs. My forearms and thighs (where the game leaned on) were purple for a week after. I'll still say Atari is the worst for standard size cabs but Spy Hunter is as heavy as anything.

Atari used lead-impregnated cabinets. Everyone knows that.

That's why they always advertised themselves as the industry's "lead-ing" games manufacturer!

I'll give a vote for the Race/Hard drivin compact as well, I broke a stair with mine going down, then broke a stair coming back out. probably 50 games up and down without any issue except for that one.

Worst game that I didn't own but helped move was one of these. It eventually took 4-6 of us to get it down and around a flight of stairs with a 180 landing. That's a 39" CRT and I believe its listed as 700lbs just for the back section on the flyer.
