This is intended to be silly, but - What would be the most absurd custom upright cabinet that could be designed for a console only game? My votes would be Custer's Last Stand and Basic Programming, for the 2600. I actually never played either, but I thought Basic Programming looked awesome in the little Atari cartridge catalogs.

The artwork for this is actually decent:

Someone emulated the controls and this would make one hell of a custom control panel:

E.T. for the Atari 2600.

One minute into the game, mechanical cuffs wrap around the player's wrists, and A Clockwork Orange-type apparatus comes down from the top, fastening to the player's eyes. The player is then promised that, if he/she finishes (and he/she will be forced to), they will be rewarded by being shown a double feature consisting of Spielberg's 1941 and A.I..

Haha.. I actually liked A.I., not sure if you're saying it sucked.

E.T. might as well include a shotgun with an electronic trigger. That was terrible. Now, I could play Yar's Revenge and Pitfall and not get bored, but E.T. was an immediate disappointment.
