I downloaded it, but my wife/son/mother-in-law always hog the iPad so I just end up playing the real deal on my XBox One. 
only purchased this and played it on the PS4

mobile game is free, and is needed to unlock stuff on the console/PC version.
The mobile game isnt terrible, but it feels like i dunno, an excuse to make you play a MKX game more than you already do and a big lure to try and get you to just spend real money to unlock stuff rather than grind it out.
