Hey guys. This is a known issue but because I have had so many questions on boards over the years, I decided to make this video. Hopefully it helps some people out who might have some "bad" boards that are actually good. Also interested in what you guys have to say about the subject so if you want to toss your opinion in the ring, that'd be cool too.

Now, granted that it may not ALWAYS be a voltage problem, but this is meant as a first response to the troubleshooting...

nice score, you should check voltage at the chips tho not via the power supply. The video is always a great help for all the new guys getting frustrated with these boards.

Check your PM's i have money i'd like to trade you for goodies :D

Can't view the video, but I wasn't aware of any particular problem with MK boards and being picky about power supplies. I've got one that I use as a tester board to generate test patterns, and I've never had problems with it working no matter what it's plugged in to.

Is there anything specific to MK that would fail such that it would be flaky or overly sensitive?
