This machine was bought for $300
It was converted a few times but stamped "Mortal kombat II" on the midway sticker inside.

Its current conversion when i got it was NFL Blitz 99

What i had to aquire...

Harness
New power supply
Monitor and chassis
marquee
control panel (other one was drilled to death)
front plexi
boards
artwork
controls

Somebody sprayed over sideart with that rhino lite stuff
no saving the side art .

Cabinet was stripped completely.
I cut a new control panel myself
built a monitor
bought some boards
got some artwork
I think this was my second major restore ive ever done.

oh i forgot to mention, when i first got the cab i lived on the third floor .
that was a pain in the ass getting it to my place so i had a few friends come
over and bring them upstairs for me.
I gave them both a macbook pro for the help.

I worked for two pawn shops at the time , macbooks were like 100 bux to me.

Ed boon gave me the comic and the watch, he hand signed the letter with a pen.

I owned an MK2 many years ago. For whatever reason, that cab was deceivingly heavy.
