I have a Mortal Kombat 2 in a dedicated cab and it worked great. All I did was rearrange some games around in my garage and now it wont boot. I tried my Street Fighter 2 pcb in it and it doesnt boot either but it works in its cab. I havent attempted to try the mk2 in the sf2 cab yet but does anyone know what could be wrong with it? When I turn it on I get no beep or diagnostics or leds lit on the pcb. Is this a power supply issue? The monitor and marquee works, just no game. Thanks for any help provided. Scott

loose/dirty connector, tho trying it out in your sf2 wouldn't hurt.

try it in the other cab and let us know, if it works it's probably a connection or your power supply.

Check Power Supply for Lose Connectors and Check Your Fuse Block for Maybe a Broken fuse holder For your SMPS supply.. after that unplug and replug your connectors to the board .

END OF LINE.

Daniel.

Check the ground wire in the JAMMA connector too. They're in the end and can get knocked around and come loose from the connector. I had a Golden Tee 2000 do the same thing.

It sounds like your power supply unit has failed. The marquee, light & PSU I think are protected by two fuses, one located above the power lead input and the other in the terminal block. If one of these fuses failed it would knock out all three. Check your power supply unit it sounds like this is the likely failure.

+1

I'll bet you have the same problem as I; If it is a switcher supply the connecting block is loose.
