Mortal Kombat 1 restoration (pic heavy)
So this project has been a long time coming. Been working on it off and on for a couple months now. Like to say thanks to Rich from This Old Game for the artwork, Biomech011 for the help and inspiration (heres the pics I've owed you
), and Slots for the local help of getting my monitors working and finding the boards for me. So here we go.
Cabinet stripped and sanded. Used a method of Biomech's in coloring around the edges with black. Used a black woodcraft paint marker.
Also used the marker to sort of dry brush areas that needed filling so I could see and fill them all in one go.
Edges filled.
Same edge rasped and sanded.
After wiping and cleaning cabinet, side art laid out.
