My mk1 was converted to a stupid tekken 3...... Ive converted it back.. But im only able to get hp block and hk working.... The wires are hacked up and i cant even get left or up to work on eigther side...... So ive bought A brand new jamma harness, but the wiring diagram for mk1 only lists the placements for hp bl hk. What do i need in addition to the jamma harness to make my lp and lk work?

You need a kick harness.

The T-Unit MK Boards is the same an Mortal Kombat 2. So if you buy from JAMMABoards get the MK2 kick harness. If you have a Y-Unit then get the MK1 harness.

I have gotten 6 or so kick harnesses from them. That is about the only thing I have no complaints about from www.jammaboards.com

My question is how do i hook this all up?

There is a header on the board that you will plug one end of the kick harness into. The other end will be loose wires that you can connect to quick connect terminals (thats how I do it) or solder them onto the switch connections.

you mean to tell me you own 5 mk's and dont know how to hook up a kick harness?!?! LOL

its simple, just wire it in to the control panel and than its plug and play on the board, use the manual but like I said just make sure its for the right unit

You don't wire it into the JAMMA connector.

It is a Pigtail/harness. There is a connection place on your board for it. Look at one of your other machines. The MK manual will tell you where to connect it on the board. Then for each button there will be your wires to the switches. Crimp on some quick connects and put them on the switch terminals.

Make positive you get the right harness, if you plug the wrong one in every time you press the button it grounds the 5v line! At best the game will reset at worst it'll fry all the chips.
