More than one room for games

Two rooms here. My Bar which is on the living level of the house (I live on a hill) and downstairs the garage. The bar is much more multi and casual based for visitors, the garage is for arcade nerds who come over, play one or two games then spend 4 hours talking about edge connectors and criticizing my t-mold textures.

4 rooms spread across 2 homes. Before I downsized, it was 5 rooms. Soon it will be down to 3 rooms and then most likely 2 shortly there after

How many of you have games packed into more than one room. 1 dedicated space? Or scattered about?

I have games in two rooms of my house.

Jason

I have games packed into several states...

So, yeah, a bit scattered about. :)

But in my Michigan house, only in the basement, sunroom, garage, and pole barn.

Two.1 rooms. Most of the games (8) are in the Family Room, the Vector Nook with (7) are in my basement "office", and the Dartboard (1) is in my bedroom (basement isn't tall enough).....

Like 20 in my game room, 5 in the garage and one at my brothers. I used to have a back porch game, but I squeezed in into the gam room eventually.
My brother moved out of state, so that's no longer an overflow option. Yes....that game is gone. I'll still call it mine, but it's gone. Just a cheap jamma cab.

When all my games were at the house, we had a dedicated game room with about 6 cabinets, 4 or 5 in the garage, and a virtua fighter in my workshop.

Sounds like the question should be "Does anyone have all their games in just one room?" ;)

I've got them all over the place - entire basement (2.5 rooms) is the main arcade. Minis and cocktails are in the main floor living room. A few pinball machines are in the main floor study. The garage has some overflow, which get moved inside and to the front porch during parties. The shed has a Megatouch (and a bunch of arcade parts).

Depending on how you look at it, my main arcade is one or two rooms (there's a dividing wall). Most of my machines are in there.

There's also a "cocktail lounge" which is adjacent to the arcade.

I ran out of space in the arcade a little while ago, so now the next room over, adjacent to the cocktail room is starting to get games.

Also games lining up in the hallway outside the arcade peoper.

There's over a dozen machines in the garage, but the garage is neither a habitable space nor one conducive to playing games so I won't count it fully.

Basically the games are spreading like a cancer through my house from the epicenter of the arcade haha

I have one room dedicated to classic games and pinball, painted and decorated. And a second bigger room with a pool table, booth table, couch and tv, and 4 player Virtua Racing. I used to have more games in the second room, but no one ever played them, so more space was made for other things that my kids and their friends use.

Both rooms are in the basement.

I'm mentally preparing to downsize our house in the next 2 years, and expect to end up with as few as 1-3 games total.

I had three rooms of games at my old house, but the goal was always one room (or outbuilding) full of games and that's what I've got now. I'm a big-time theme guy. I like each room to have a purpose. I don't like random things scattered all over. I guess I like a cohesive feel. When I see people with games all over their house it turns me off immediately. To me that says 'hoarder' more than 'collector'. My basement consists of a full home theater, my daughter's bedroom, two mechanical rooms, a bathroom, and one giant arcade. There are always project games up in the garage, but my Arcade is the only room in the house that currently houses games. We tried Ms Pac up in the dining room for a few years, but it never really caught on or got played.

One three car garage that has a wall between the 1 car and 2 car side... so technically I guess 2 rooms?

The wife finally let me put a game in the house (hehe)... it went in our "game room" (consoles) ... and never got played. I moved it back to the garagecade.
