I've been having issues on and off with my Star Wars and I ended up letting it sit for a while. I started playing it the other day and had no issues for about a half hour, then it just tweaked out and reset on me. I restarted it and it would play for a few min, the screen would scramble and reset. I played it for over an hour yesterday and never had one issue. One thing it did which it's never done is loose all the high scores and settings. A little background on the machine: it has a rebuilt ARII board and new big blue from Bob Roberts, rebuilt monitor and the VectorLabs ESB kit installed. These issues didn't start after any of these repairs/upgrades were done, it just kinda started out of the blue. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to start checking?

You might not like it but check the voltages again and hook up a meter so you can watch them when the issue happens. I would almost be certain it is a voltage issue. It can be one of the connectors and a good cleaning would not hurt.

I'll recheck everything. The hard part is its so intermittent I don't know when it will tweak out. I was thinking about swapping the ARII board with my Tempest and see if anything changes. I did test the ARII out in Tempest for a couple weeks when I first rebuilt it and it ran perfect but I know things can change. I was worried it might be a board issue but most of the time it will play perfect so I hope it's a power issue. Is there anything that could go wrong with the power supply minus the big blue that I could address?
