Was it a ground wire for the control panel? I thought about lookoing for that after I left your place but forgot about it by the time I got back to the hotel...
 
There was one end of a harness that was just sitting at the bottom of the cab not plugged into anything which had 2 or 3 wires coming from the control panel in it.
 
Thats great! A lot of these boards I just got in seem to be working. I will try to post some more tonight.
