He has 3 Pac-Man machines. Says they all work great. He's taking bids. I offered $100 sight unseen and he hung up on me. I guess I should have said I need to see them first. I thought it was an okay offer seeing how they were listed for all 3 for $250. Oh, well.

You offered $100 on 3 "working great" Pac Man vids? I would have hung up on you too. Well, probably not, but that would have been the end of our conversation for sure. $250 for all 3 is a great deal. Why not just jump on it when you had the chance? I don't get it...

Sorry, I should have been a little clearer, I offered $100 each which would have been $50 over asking. I think he thinks he's sitting on a gold mine. I'm glad I didn't really want one. I already have a very nice pac-man.

Ohh ok...that makes more sense. In that case, yeah, I don't understand why he would hang up if you offered him more than his original asking price. Probably someone you are better off not dealing with anyway. That is how I try to look at it when stuff like that happens.

When I respond to a CL listing that states a fixed price, and then subsequently find out that the seller is taking bids, that person gets a "Then you need to fix your CL ad." And I hang up on them.

wow!

I would love to have a Ms Pac, but I am done dealing with pricks on Craigslist! They are probally conversions like the pizza place in troy that is selling a ms pac.

I just got a Capcom vs SNK, and the guy was real nice and chopped $50 off the $250 price.

He has a bunch of other good stuff, check out this thread, I posted a vid too:
