Was researching regarding to Moppet Video and found out seemly there were only 5 games made for Moppet Video

the list of 5 different moppet video are placed here

http://www.arcade-museum.com/manuf_detail.php?manuf_id=1517

I noticed which two of them shows same style flat bottom monitor while mine is more like up front instead of flat end.. what do you call that???

anyway..

I wondered is that belong to one of other 3 (doubtfully to racing game) so other two games...

Noah's Ark or Tugboat?

I noticed seemly someone had custom made the joystick board because it is capcom street fighter but it s perfectly made to fit ..

weird..

Here is images..

Yes Stray Cabinet but I am here trying to get it to the orginial much as possible.

Marquee and Bezel is easily replace. If anyone know specific what game it does belong. I want to fix it and make it look classic.

as for CP.. NO SH*T! but it is very nice art work. I had purchased this cabinet from guy who are member of here also. He said he had fixed this cabinet before making sale to me. I was not sure if he made that part.

This is why I am asking why my moppet video side art (wood shape) are big different compared to Leprechaun. Leprechaun Wood Sideart looks more curve and places monitor more concave or angling (what do you call that again). While Mine s stand upright.

If anyone has the clone art work for moppet. Please LMK and i ll be thrilled to do the mini project on marquee and bezel.

Thanks KLOV~!

I kind of like it-all mismatched and stuff. TMNT marquee, SF II bezel and CP and Moppet sideart. That is one 'confused' cabinet.

Not dissing you cabinet. :)

That CP overlay is nice. Looks like some that have been selling here - the original Diamond Plate CP. There is a thread on it.

Good luck on your restore. I really know nothing about the Moppets other than they are small and have a funny name and noice loves them! :D

if you are trying to put it back to original PM noice. He will have the info you want and possibly the parts. Other than him there are very few people that know much about these.

Going to email the OP this as well but wanted all to see. I think that is either Desrt Race or Tug Boat. Thought the later games they mixed and matched in the 2 different cabinet styles. I have only seen one Desert Race and a extra PCB which I own neither any more. I have seen several Tug Boats and I do have the Pinouts for it scanned (It is the same as Desert Race and almost the same as Noah's Ark) if you want them. You can use two standard Jamma Harness for the connection to the PCB and then wire the wires to where they go. I have seen some with a switching power supply and some with the orginal lenar (SP) power supply. When I go back to AR (Maybe in September) I may be selling a Project Tug Boat. I do not remember if the CP had a CPO or not. I do have a marquee for it and the bezel is just black plastic. I have a extra Board but it may be missing the top stack. I have seen some boards that appear to not have come with a top stack. But until I can test one to see if one will work with out the top stack I have no way of knowing. I need to get my Tug Boat out here and test the board I just found.

There were actually 6 Moppets the 6th being Berstine Bear's Big Paws Cave. I have only seen one and heard about one being in a childrens waiting room at a hospital in Seattle ( I am guessing back in the day). I sold my Berstine Bears to a guy in CA and I think he almost has it working. I think it is the same pinouts as Desert Race/Tug Boat/Noah's Ark.

I had planned one day to repo the side art but no idea if I will get around to it. I have sold off some of my cabinets (5) this year to pay down bills. I think I am down to 13 or so :).

Thanks Steven

That s cool!.. I guess I ll look out til then!.

Right now I am looking for a nice Marquee and Bezels for my moppet. If anyone has or anythign to offer.

I am all hear!

thanks again.

Just curious if there are any factory tags of any kind inside the cabinet ?
I always go looking for obscure remnants of stapled papers or whatnot when I'm curious about a cabinets origins.
I don't know if Moppets would have anything like that or not.

I'd love to get my hands on one or two to use as models to make a few though. :)

There are some later designs someone did with jamma harness. One has been up on ebay in CA for a long time. But actual Moppet Cabinets are usually white unless painted over. I may be selling a couple more in the near future.
