I thought I would share my preservation focused restoration of my recent acquisition, Michael Jackson's Moonwalker. It took me 2yrs of a lot of back and forth to get this machine, but I couldn't be happier. For those familiar with the St Louis, MO gaming scene in the late 80's thru 90's this machine originally came from Aladdin's Castle (later known as Time Out) in Fairview Heights, IL (15min from St Louis). Coincidentally, Aladdin's Castle was the arcade, I spent the bulk of my time slinging quarters within the STL area. After it was retired from service it later found its way to Chicago where it has remained in Ralph Fischer's collection…until now! It's a privilege to be able to bring this little gem back to its home town area as the newest addition to my humble collection.

I like to collect original unmolested cabs and/or preserve original pieces by replacing worn out parts/art with NOS or like new used parts. I plan to keep the original side art on the right hand side along with the patina'd original CPO. The bezel too is in great shape and the marquee is flawless, but the cab none the less needs some light TLC. If anyone here has a NOS set of side art to help me replace the faded side art and torn signature art set on the left side and a rear door that would be a phenomenal help.

Here are some pics of the cab as it sits along with the machines it will join once I get her standing tall once again.
