My daughter has got quite in MJ of recent so I pulled out my Moonwalker Pcb, however the 2nd player just would not go down. I had never noticed it before as nomally its just me on my own playing it. Checked over the pcb and found that the Jamma edge connector is actually missing the connector for 2P Down. Its not been burnt off or anything, just not there? Is there a quick and easy way of reapplying it, so I can get those 2 player games up and running.

Cheers
Ben

You will probably need to follow the trace and solder wire somewhere else on the board. If the pad is completely gone, I am not sure what else you can do.

My son (5) and daugher (2) both love MJ. Because I do too :). Get her MJ Experience on the wii, it's awesome :).

Cheers for the replies, the pad on the connectors is completly gone.

I think the solution to the problem is make an adapter for it and solder a wire from the point on the pcb where the connector should start over to the adapter.

Otherwise, I guess could replace the whole bottom pcb with one from another System 18 game (Clutch Hitter for example) then transfer over the socketed chips and daughter board from Moonwalker. I would need to get a sega resurection kit though as well, as the moment that suicide battery is pulled, the pcb will be dead.

I also have been finding the dipswitches can do random stuff, and the board saves credits, could this be something to do with the battery on it?
