I have a working Moonwalker with a Sega save kit. Works fine.

I have a working backup Moonwalker pcb without Sega save kit and it works fine.
When I put the Sega save kit in, the pcb does not work.
When I take out the save kit, it works.

I tried swapping the kits, and the kits all work in the working Moonwalker that has been working all along.

NO kit works in the pcb that I am trying to save.

Any thoughts on this?

The first thing I would try is to contact the Sega Resurrection team.

Your post says that the resurrection kit works, so while it isn't anything wrong with what they have provided you, they may have had others with a similar problem and already know the best way to resolve it.

ok I have been testing the original board from the original poster. All chips on the daughter card have been verified and found correct. Game will load to start up, and coin up, once game is started the player character is missing you can move around the screen and the guys will fire and chase you yet. RAM all passes in the test. I also have a PCB that does the exact same thing. 68000 and Z80 both are verified working along with the other 8751.

I am out of ideas at the moment? would this be work pursuing or just buy a clutch hitter and use the main board with the moonwalker daughter card.
