The power resets and sometimes will not come on. When I open the back, the board on the floor of the cabinet to the far left has only two LEDs. The white connector coming from the right has to be reseated for the power to be restored. There is a burn mark where one of the wires has burned the side of the white connector. Since reseating is a short term solution at best, I got a switching power supply from arcadeshop. It is here and I can see how the adaptor connects to the white plug from the pcb. What I cant figure out is how to connect anything else. It did not come with directions and I can not find any through google.

Pictures would help a lot. There are a lot of different configurations of the power supply.

Arcadeshop supply

I got the switching power supply specific for moon patrol. It comes with a metal plate that you place under the screws. The pins on the plate match the pins on the connector going to the pcb. It also came with two blue wires with u shaped connectors on the ends.

It is pretty straight forward, Tap the two blue wires into the AC and fire it up. I would tap them into the black wires with white stripe, just above the connector on the power brick. You will have no coin door lights with the AS switcher just as an FYI.

Thanks for the response

Dockert - are you still rebuilding these power supply boards? Is that the only way to keep the coin door lights? Thanks for the helpful responses.
