Moon Patrol, Missile Command on AS Vertical Multi board?

I just noticed that Moon Patrol, Missile Command are listed on the ArcadeShop website as games that can be loaded on the vertical board. Is this a mistake? If not, how and why did they put these horizontal games on the vertical board? How do they look and play?

I asked Frizz about this quite a while ago and he said that Moon Patrol plays and looks ok, albeit a little squished.....not sure about the others, perhaps he will chime in...

They look pretty good and play just fine. The aspect ratio has obviously been squshed down a bit but they did leave a bit of blank space at the top and bottom so the image is closer to square than true vertical. Moon Patrol and Missle Command both play great. Missile command can be played with a joystick and the cursor speed can be adjusted to help make that control option more feasable. Of course you can also use a track ball if you have one hooked up.

Mario Bros. plays fine but has some minor color and sound differences but I do not believe they are an issue with the AS board; I believe they emulate the version that is part if the Donkey Kong Classics Namco cabinet that has also included a Mario Bros for Vertical orientation as both versions look and sound the same.
