Version 1.2 of the software

I made a change to the software so that it will save the "Top Record" for each level.
If anyone would like to test this out before I post it please let me know.

*Note, I will send a rom image file and you will need to burn it to a 27c512

Wow, that's incredible. I just started to get mine going last night, finally having some free time. That's one of those things which is going to completely change the way I play the game. Thanks for continuing to tweak this, man.

Will this work for your non-kit mod too? My wife actually pointed out to me that the level times don't save. :)

Sorry, only on the kit.
Not really supporting the "simple" MP mod, it was only to tide people over until I did the kit.

I guess that's an option too. Souzilla - go ahead and send me the rom image and I'll track down a local collector that can burn it for me.

v1.2 (2nd edition)

well, i did a backup of my original 1.1 rom image, then erased the chip and burned the 1.2 image (second edition)

i played three games to 3rd section with no continuation (yeah, i am crap at mp so far - only had 20 games since i got it!) and first time thru scored <80 on each 1st, 2nd section and <100 on 3rd section and let the game end.

second pass thru, my previous level time was saved in first two sections and i bettered my score on each, and they were saved ok.

third pass thru same but with third section the missus opened the garage door and i couldnt see what i was doing (sun was too bright) & crashed out. crap.

when i get some more time i'll get thru each level using continuation (coz i'm crap at MP), but so far it is doing what is should!:D:D:D

i could burn chips for members in Australia no probs.
