Moon Patrol Conversion -- One small step for man One giant leap for Multi-Williams

My next project will be a Multi-Williams.

I got this cab for $100 from Doodlesdaddy in Warehouse Raid #3
http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=305588

It had been Jamma-tized with a Switcher. It had Bad Dudes in it and was working.

My plan is to Mulit-Williams it. I have a Jrok Multi-Williams board, Multi-Williams artwork/marquee/cpo from Arcadeshop.com

Here's what I am working with :

Here's the plan :

1. Repair sides/front
2. Black laminate sides/front
3. Restore upper/lower coin door
4. Repair or replace lower back door
5. Repair/paint upper black door
6. Patch control panel and restore it
7. Repair/Restore all metal brackets
8. Apply artwork and t-molding

Only problem - Jrok doesn't have Moon Patrol (I wish.....). Looks like you have a good base to start with no major damage other than cosmetics. What side art are you going with? I just picked up a Stargate in pretty good shape and am thinking about going multi with it possibly just changing out the marquee, bezel, and cp.

I think I've changed my mind on this one. I'm probably going to restore it to a Moon Patrol one day. It's to much trouble Multi-Williams-ing a Moon Patrol because of the narrower cab size.

For now I think I will start another thread and Multi-Williams my former Joust cab.

working on one of these as well using the art that TOG used to carry. Setting it up to mostly play Defender Stargate and Joust though since i already have a Robotron.

Waiting on a few more parts them I'm good to go. Still need to choose my joysticks

I too am working on a MW and a dedicated Moon Patrol. I'm using the Phoenix Arcade artwork w/ a Takeman MW control panel in a Robotron cab that i had to replace the bottom 10" of the sides.

Moon patrol will have to be JAMMA as i can't find a harness and no reproductions are currently being made but i've got all the parts to do it now i think.

I just bought an old Williams Bubbles cabinet and thought a Jrok Williams Multigame would be good. The cabinet control panel is 23" wide. Is that narrow and basically excludes this cabinet from a Multigame conversion because the cp would be too crowded?

Thanks,
Andy
