Does anyone have any idea on what the angle/profile of the bottom back corners were on these cabinets? I am restoring one and the bottom edges are chewed up pretty bad. I bondoed the back corners, but I did them both at a 90 degree angle so I could cut the proper angle later. Too bad I don't know what the proper angle is. Help? Also, did these cabs come with wheels on the back, and were the leg levelers standard?

Ooops, there is no cut corner on Sinistar, just MP.

I think Joust and Moon Patrol are pretty close to each other (Joust is slightly wider).
I've attached pics of my Joust, no wheels, back slightly higher than sides and front.

My Joust and a Moon Patrol bottom pictured here.
Since these pics, I have made blocks of 3/4" wood and mounted leg levelers on it.
(the 2x4's had to go)

I'm sorry, what in that thread am I supposed to be looking at? I only see pics of chewed up wood and metal cover-up brackets? Am I missing the pic of the bottom back cut corner angle?

Really.
There is no angle. I would post a pic but my wife has the camera.

OK, sounds good. It looked like it had one on both sides on this cab, but it could have been just worn out from tons of tipping and moving and sliding. Thanks.

Just trying to help you out, sorry, but you did ask about wheels and bottoms?
BTW, there is no angle.

I wasn't trying to be rude, I looked through the thread like 3 times and wondered what I was looking for. Thanks.

It is square on my Moon Patrol. Might have had a tiny (1/4" diameter) rounding to it, but it was hard to know if it was that way originally, or if it'd just been worn a little. Definitely didn't have a major cut corner job or rounded cut on the bottom corners.

To the other question you asked: no wheels, just leg levelers. The Midway cabinets had the wheels on the back for operators that were too cheap to buy a dolly.

Phet..sounds like a nice restoration in the works...please tell me your going to do the stencils...the reason I ask is I'm going to be doing a williams cab later this spring and need some ideas on the clear I'm going to use...based on some good info from yellowdog I think this stuff might be close to what Williams actually used...
