pickedup this Galaxian last night and it was playing blind.gotta it home and turn it on and the monitor came on to my delight. it has a bad wave to it but was playable. has a switcher wired in and the fuse holder was by-passed. would a cap kit clean this up and or should i look at the hacked job of the wiring. its a k4675

replacing 1 cap is most likely not going to solve your problem. do a cap kit and go over all the solder. especially for the 2 cards.

It *might*, if it really is a bad filter. But this is a 4600. If you go to all the trouble of taking it apart, you should really replace all the capacitors and reflow all the solder joints while you're in there.
