I was told there was a 'standard' pinout for most 19" monitors? I currently have three different tubes that I am trying to bring back to life. Of course, all 3 have different pinouts...... see below.......

One tube was a from a Sega game (MC-2000-S) 12 pin?
another is from a WG board(I think) RCA, 19VLTP22 a 10 pin?,
and a Phillips tube MV A48ABK05X and an 8 pin???

Standard pinout??? Please explain or tell me where I can get the info.....

Thanks!!!

Follow up...

P.S. -All three tubes are color raster tubes if there was any question on what type.....

If you have tubes with yokes then order chassis' from alvaamusements. They sell Wei-ya chassis. You'll need to measure the vertical and horzintal impedance to give to them when you order.

If you are asking what standard arcade monitors these tubes will work with the only one I know is the 19VLTP22 which is found on G07's, 4900's and possibly others. But that is the tube itself NOT inluding the yoke.

I found this here
"Typical Color CRT Pinout It is usually possible - with a little effort - to determine the pinout of a CRT from the markings and circuit configuration on the CRT neck board and by visually following the base lead wires inside the neck of the tube. Here is one pinout common in color TVs. Note that this tube socket includes integral spark gaps and pin 12 doesn't actually go into the CRT.

  • Pin 1: Focus
    Pin 2: NC
    Pin 3: NC
    Pin 4: NC
    Pin 5: G1
    Pin 6: Green Cathode
    Pin 7: G2
    Pin 8: Red Cathode
    Pin 9: Filament
    Pin 10: Filament
    Pin 11: Blue Cathode
    Pin 12: Sparkgap Ground
Here is another without sparkgaps in the socket:
Pin 1: Focus
Pin 2: NC
Pin 3: Blue Cathode
Pin 4: Filament
Pin 5: Filament
Pin 6: G1
Pin 7: Red Cahtode
Pin 8: G2
Pin 9: Green Cathode

The MC2000-S uses a tube with an odd pinout. Uses the B&K rejuvenator socker CR25. There is no Wei-ya chassis that works with that pinout.

If you find tubes that use either a CR23 or CR31 adapter in the B&K Setup manual, then there's Wei-ya chassis that will work.

If I understand your question - are you trying to match chassis to those tubes? If so the WG 10 pin could be for 4600 or 4900 (maybe others). Ohm the yoke coils - if H is around 50 ohm its probly a 4900, about 10 ohm is what the 4600 runs - same pinout.

I have a 12 pin tube running in an Orion chassis(Ken says this is actually a Kortek sub-brand) but its a different tube number (510LCB22). However it also uses rejuv adapter CR25. I could take my yoke readings for you to compare to your MC2000-S if thats any help.

If I misunderstood your post - disregard this reply.
