I'm looking to take this monitor (I believe the serial said it was a WG4600, is this correct?) and drop it in a ms. pac. First question, is can I do this with this monitor? Second question, is on the pics below, there's a wire that looks like it was cut and is just hanging off the lower left of the board. What was this from, and should I be concerned about hooking it up to something; or just the fact that there is exposed wire?

Yes

Only if you want the monitor to have power.

I would be more concerned with both missing daughter cards, cause the monitor ain't going to work without them.

Hmm, yeah, those boards probably would be nice to have, lol. Guess I won't be using this one anytime soon then. Thanks for the info!

just in case you do get the daughter cards somehow and want to put the correct plug on that chassis, Bob Roberts does sell the correct connectors.

The pictures also show that it has never had a capkit.

To use this with a Pac/Ms. Pac the monitor will need a "P306" (or P305, P309, P313) video interface card and a "Hor/Ver" (a.k.a. XY) board.
