Hey, my monitor is squished into one single vertical line across the monitor. I can kinda see the game playing on the one line. Any quick tips to get it up and running or do i need a cap kit. The monitor is from an area 51 site 4, i believe it is the original monitor that was in the cab.

A cap kit is not likely to fix this. What you have is called vertical collapse and is more often fixed by repairing cold solder joints or replacing certain components in the vertical deflection circuitry. The first thing you need to do is identify the monitor model. Bob Roberts has a page that is helpful for finding the ID yourself or you can post a pic here...

Looks like a Wells Gardner K7400 series. (could be a 7500 if it's medium resolution)

There should be a "P" number somewhere on a the MAIN chassis, might be a white sticker.
Would look like "Pxxx", (P783, P792, P something something something)

Or there may be a sticker that says something like 25K7401.

Man, those are some crappy pics. Too small to see anything.

Look in the back left corner of the chassis. there should be a sticker that will say something like WGM25xx-

xx = the chassis ID number:

74 = K7400
75 = K7500
20 = U2000
50 = U5000

Either way, your problem is most likely with U601 (mounted on the big silver U-shaped wall on the right edge). Probably wouldn't hurt to recap it while you have it out...

sorry couldn't find my cam so i had to take them with my phone. Ill take a look and see what kind of chassis it is.

I know this is probably a stupid question, but if i use a heat gun and just run it along the bottom of the board will that solve my problem. Or do i have to dicharge the monitor before i do anything?

Discharge the tube so that you can pull the entire chassis out.
Check the bottom side for any bad solder joint and broken traces.
