I have a 25 inch WG monitor that powers up briefly then shuts off. It shuts off softly. I am pretty sure its a K7000.

It's only on for about 10 seconds before it shuts off. Any idea what it could be? I checked connections and fuses and they looked good. I am guessing it's a high voltage shutdown based on reading through prior posts.

Thanks.

I replaced C56 and C57 and now it works.

There was a slight curl at the top, barely noticable. I ended up adjusting the screen size a tiny bit and it's out of the viewable area. Not sure what caused it.

Only replaced 2 caps, huh? Well, i hope you don't love this game and play it a lot. I'm sure the other caps will fail in the next year...

I'm trying to think positively. ha ha...

I went to the electronics store and the caps were over-priced by 300%. I only bought two, which as you know, were the most common causes of the issue I was having, in order to at least get it working for now. They didn't have half of the ones that were needed so I could not have done the whole thing anyway. Next time I make an order with Bob Roberts I'll probably get his cap kit for it and do the whole thing.

Thanks again for the help and advice.
