hey all, i have a monitor here with a k7900 chassis that has been rebuilt etc only issue is the color guns in the tube is dead, but the frame, chassis, yoke etc is all good, i want to salvage the yoke but the plastic ring the metal clamp clamps down on broke into pieces upon removal, is this a big issue? aall the rings etc are still good

Salvaging the convergence rings isn't an issue. K7000's are easily tube swapped with TV donor tubes. You can use the yoke and convergence rings from the donor tube.

it wasnt the conversion rings it was the plastic clamp

If the clamp area around the yoke is broken, it might be able to be saved, but it depends on how bad it's broken. Either way, a viable donor will have a compatible yoke. Send a picture

I won't be the one to replace the tube, my plan is to sell the frame, chassis and yoke together as I don't need them

That's a CR-23 fat neck K7000 yoke. It's common for those to get brittle and fall apart, I've ran into that myself several times. As long as there's enough of the tabs left to tighten down on the tube it should be fine.
