I have a wells gardener monitor (will write serial down later) that has no display. I power the game up and game plays blind. I haven't really messed with it in a while. This was given to me a long time ago and I never did anything with it. I finally have the time to begin doing a full rebuild and want to know where to begin with this monitor. I will get some pics up hopefully later today. Also is there a website/guide somewhere where I can learn how/where to begin.

Thanks

First thing you need to do... identify the monitor. What kind of Wells Gardner is it? What size is it? Is it color? Raster? It should have a model number on it somewhere, like 19K4900 or something.

The type of monitor will greatly help us in telling you what to check first.

In general though, you want to check to ensure that the monitor is getting power, if there are any blown fuses on it, if the neck of the tube lights up when it gets power, etc.

If you're local to me (as I suspect), let me know if you need help with it. I can fix it for you (for a fee of course) or I can provide help, advice, and pointers for free. Monitors can be finicky at times....
