Sorry not sure if Im posting this in the right area, nut I am wondering if anyone is doing g07 chassis repairs. I have a few that need fixing and I don't have the time.

Thanks, Dan

Depends on what's wrong. In the G07 world, most of the time caps/fly/hot usually gets the job done.

I'd be willing to take them on if you don't have any specific time constraints. I've repaired dozens of monitors for my own use and a few for friends, but I'm more than willing to take on repairs for others, so long as they understand I do this as a hobby, not professionally.

If you need them done professionally, I'd suggest contacting Chad at arcadecrt.com and get it off to him. Chad's not cheap, but his work is top notch.

There are a few others here that will do chassis work for you too, but I'm not sure what their lead time or availability is.

I have a couple of space shuttle engines to rebuild as well and I can't find the time either......

Nothing is more annoying then people posting smart ass comments that have nothing to contribute to the thread. If you don't have anything helpful to say then don't say anything.
Its just a waste of space and time.

I would like to find someone who does exchanges. I really don't feel like fixing these things anymore. Its hard to find time anymore.

How many do you need? I have a pair of them - one ready to go, the other needs caps & a fly, and should be ready by Wed night.

Are go-7 monitors generally what is in a Ms. Pacman upright game?

Not necessarily. Monitors in arcade games are like tires on a car. The manufacturers just use the correct size and type, but the brand and model are not necessarily important.

For what it's worth, I've touched 9 Ms Pacs in my life:

  • 2 had G07's
  • 2 had Wells Gardner 4900's
  • 2 had Wells Gardner 4600's
  • 1 had a Wells Gardner K7xxx
  • 1 had a Toei
  • 1 had a Makvision

I don't have any ready-to-go chassis at the moment, but I can take your chassis and get them rebuilt in just a few days. Right now monitor repair is my only gig. I charge $50 per monitor, plus parts.

I also have a 19K7000 (eight pin) ready to go, for anyone who may be interested.
