i tried reseating all the connectors and i didnt see any wires off???

Let's start by putting this thread in the actual monitor section. :)

There are some sticky threads at the top of this section that will help you. First off, what kind of monitor is it?

ok...call me an idiot...but how do you tell what kind of monitor it is?..........i will check tomarow and see if i can tell any names on it? do you need to know the size of it. is there anything else i should check

thanks for helping guys. sorry i put this in the wrong section, i have never repaired a monitor before but i have fixed other arcade problems (joysticks, cabinet restorations, crane machines, driving games, gun games)

Look at the chassis, usually there will be a label either on the monitor's frame, or on the metal parts of the chassis that says something like "Electrohome G07" or "WGK49xx" or something. It's very possible the labels have fallen off, or were never there, so if you can't find a model number, post a picture of the chassis and we can identify it.

You can also go here http://www.therealbobroberts.net/monitor.html for pictures of lots of game monitor chassis, and match yours up.
