So Ive got 5 projects now all in various working states. One thing I have noticed is all of my games have a little bit of picture cut off. On my terminator 2 the left side is to far over and up so you cant see player ones life bar not bad but it annoys me. Ninja gaiden on the other hand has horrible burn in and wierd geomentry issues picture doest fill screen and image is wavey around the edgesthis might be becuase the psu is not correctly setup. The other games its only minor.

Starting from left to right what are the monitor adjustments? T2 is not labeled and I dont want to just start turning the knobs anyone know which dial does what?

Also I had a guy tell me last night that the card on the end of the neck board should be snug on the back of the monitor is this true as most of my games it is not flat against the neck completley?

There are adjustments for the picture size, linearity, etc. If for some reason the controls are not labelled, you must look up the manual for your monitor - it will tell you what the controls do. You don't mention what kind of monitor your T2 has, so I can't give you any specific information.

As for Ninja Gaiden, if you have odd picture distortion, foldover, etc, then you probably will need to replace the electrolytic capacitors in the monitor. You can purchase a 'cap kit' containing all the parts you will need.

The neck board needs to be connected securely to the back of the picture tube, but there's nothing that says it has to be dead straight, it's just an electrical connection, and nothing more. In fact, it's not uncommon for the socket on the end of the tube to be slightly crooked as well. Just so long as it's on there and making good connection, that's all that matters.
