Hey all,

I have two (crappy) Bestech 13" monitors that I've been trying to get working. In one, there was a Rectifier Diode near the flyback that was blown to smithereens. I replaced it, and it worked beautifully for about 20 minutes, until I lost picture and started hearing a click, click, click sound.

Originally, while I was still getting picture - I had a similar result while adjusting the B+ - although I'm not 100% sure how to measure the actual B+ on the chassis to confirm that there is an issue.

The second monitor had a blown fuse that I replaced - same result w/the click, click, click sounds without picture.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance, always appreciated!

That's the HV shutdown circuit kicking in, which it will do if B+ is too high. Lots of stuff can cause this, but start by adjusting B+ down.

Thanks for the response!

I'd suspected it had something to do w/the B+, but the potentiometer on each doesn't do a thing.
