Got a donkey kong cocktail and the monitor is dim. When I say dim I mean in complete darkness you can see the barrels and the ladders and thats about it(everything else is just dim shadows).

Is this a cap kit or am I missing something?
Brightness is all the way up.

There are 3 brightness controls.
1. right next to all of the other pots
2. Sub Brightness on the chassis
3. Master Brightness on the flyback

Which one is turned all of the way up?

Only the one next to the other pots.

I did not know there were more, I will have to remove the monitor to get to the others.

Will do that and report back.
Thanks.

Cool that worked, I can play it now.
One more question if you don't mind.
It is only using about 2/3rds of the screen(there is an inch and a half of black on either side) and when I adjust it, it just scrunches up on the side.I adjusted the pots on the board and the ones on the monitor(by the volume).
Any ideas?

Cap the monitor. I have yet to see the Sanyo that doesn't benefit hugely from a recap. It's a bit of a PITA, but well worth it. Start there and see if the curl doesn't go away.

Well, if you feel the need to search my posts to find one where I am asking a question just to post that picture..............you might need a hobby.
