Hi! I have an original Neo Geo 2 slot cab and I just picked up a KTM-F 26" Monitor to put in it. The only part I have a question about is the power harness. The original monitor is a WG 19" standard. The power harness for it is a 2-pin with white and black wires. The new monitor has 3 wires. a solid purple, a purple with a line and a solid green. I know that the solid green went to ground in the old cab it came out of (buck hunter or whatever). My question is: which purple wire goes to what black or white wire? Thanks!

pics of the Hantarex Polo in my KI. L means "live" or "hot", N means neutral on the monitor there..

the solid violet wire would go to the black, and the violet-yellow would go to the white. if you're splicing, give yourself enough wire to work with, strip the old and the new wiring and intertwine them and lay some solder to form a great connection. then cover it accordingly.. liquid tape is one of my favorites. electrical tape, and maybe throw a ziptie over the two wires just to make sure the tape never falls off.

though technically speaking, if you have an isolation transformer, KLOV legend foretells that there's no such thing as a hot or neutral from an iso.. but aesthetically I would do it the way I outlined above.

That did it. I think I read somewhere else that the stray yellow wire is for a degauss? Anyway, I am up and running. Thanks again.

what stray yellow wire???

send me a picture of the whole monitor. or multiple angles of pictures.
