Just replaced a monitor in my neo mini 13" with a monitor I took out of a megatouch IV...picture is upside down...what do I do?

How? I can't mount the monitor to the "ceiling of the cab". How do i flip the yoke on a WG13k7201?

Look up the dip switch settings on the PCB you are using, and flip the one that says 'screen flip'. It will turn the screen the right way around for you and save you a lot of hassle.

On the tube itself, there should be the deflection windings with 4 wires. Red, blue, green and yellow. I believe Red/Blue control the Horizontal scan and Green/Yellow control the Vertical. Those wires will go back to the main chassis to a 4 pin connector behind the flyback transformer. You can either break the connector and reverse the G/Y or R/B pair. Or if you don't want to break the connector, you can extract the pins and reverse them that way. Just DON'T mix up the R/B or G/Y pairs.

the connector from the yoke to the monitor chassis needs to be flipped...make sure you do it right or you'll cook the whole thing

you need to reverse the blue and red....and reverse the yellow and green

it should be printed right on the chassis what color goes where

These guys are right, but dude, seriously, just flip the 'screen flip' dip switch. You won't run the risk of making a mistake and frying your monitor this way.

Not familiar with the Neo's. Didn't know it had a convience flip switch. Good to know. :D

Or you can take tube out of frame and rotate 180 degrees and bolt back into frame.

Andrew

Those old monitors they used in the older Megatouch games were mounted upside down in the cabinet. They did actually mount the tube upside down in the monitor frame.

Wow, thanks for all the input guys! Switched the 2 plugs around and viola!!! Picture is right side up again. Game room is coming along nicely now. Galaga cabaret fixed, NEO mini fixed, now just gotta fix my Blasteroids (monitor collapse) and Star Wars Racer Arcade (monitor constantly stretches in all directions). Everything else is in good shape...feels good.
